professional and courteous. transmission died in the middle of a trip. installed new transmission in a day and a half. job was completed a day ahead of schedule. vehicle is running great. they went above and beyond. even volunteered a significant $200 manufacturer's rebate we could use to defray costs of repair. would definitely use them again.
I immediately returned to Sylvester Chevrolet Service to show them what had happened. That if possibly they could check their shop cameras or parking lot cameras to see what happened. The service technician said that I brought the truck in like that. I told him that we looked directly at the rear bumper while my truck was in the service area and it WAS NOT damaged. But he kept insisting that it was brought in that way. He lied to my face while the service manager was present.
The technician showed me the area and proceeded to make out a bill for diagnostics in locating the problem. I went to pay the bill in a different area of the dealership and my truck was brought out to me. I then proceeded to the body shop directly from the dealership.
Upon arriving at Sylvester Chevrolet's Service Center, the technician wanted to show me where the problem was so I could point it out to the body shop. We approached the vehicle from behind where I proceeded to show the technician the body repairs. The rear bumper, driver's taillight, tailgate and rear driver's side box panel.
Friendly staff! Goes out of the way to feel welcome. Service is slow though. Second time I waited for quick service and it wasn't quick.
After having rear end damage repair done at another facility (because Sylvester Chevrolet isn't in Allstate's repair network) I dropped my vehicle off because I had several warning lights on. Trailer brake, ABS, and Stabilitrak. I received a call from the service center explain a pinched wiring harness. I called the body shop and explained what the dealership told me and asked me to return the vehicle to the body shop to have the problem corrected.
Awesome place. I will not go anywhere else for a car but here.. this is the place to go hands down.
Upon arriving at the body shop, the owner noticed a very sharp dent in my just replaced, brand new rear bumper.
